Guerrilla attacks in seven places in Indian Kashmir: Red Alert issued

A red alert was issued on the Kashmir valley due to the continuous guerrilla attack in India-controlled Jammu and Kashmir. There were 7 guerrilla attacks in the 4 hours since Tuesday evening. In the series of attacks aimed at security forces in every place, 13 people, including CRPF CRPF and 4 policemen, had been wounded. After all these attacks, the security agency has issued an alert in the entire subdivision. All the security camps, police stations, and also on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway have been provided with utmost security in Anantnag-Srinagar division. Security forces are conducting search operations to eliminate attacking guerrillas. On the other hand, on behalf of the guerrilla organization Hizbul Mujahidin, the responsibility of further attacks on security forces has been given by the responsibility of those attacks. The first attack was made at 6 pm on the day. 9 jawans were injured when a grenade attack was carried out by CRPF 180 Battalion Company camp in the village of Lyolara village in Pulwamaar in southern Kashmir. The injured were admitted to the base hospital in Srinagar. Four of them are in critical condition. The second attack is at 8 pm. Guerrillas attacked CRPF 130 battalion camps in Paddagora. There was no damage to the incident. The third attack was at 8:30 pm. The guerrillas threw grenades at the Pulwama police station and hit the wall outside the thana and broke it. Two policemen were injured in the incident. The fourth attack is at 9:00 pm. Guerrillas launched a grenade attack on the CRPF camp in Anantnag in south Kashmir. There was no damage to the incident. The fifth attack is at 9:15 pm Guerrillas attacked security personnel deployed in the security of the former Judge Muzaffar Hussain Atarr at the Ainchidura in south Kashmir. Two policemen were injured in the incident. Guerrillas looted 4 rifles of police personnel. At that time there were four police staffers, but neither of them was present. The two were fired. The sixth attack is at 9:30 pm.

The guerrillas opened fire on the 22 army rifles camps of the army in the Pajalpara through automatic weapons. Guerrillas escaped in the dark when the guards deployed at the camp gate fired back. Uttar Kashmir’s DIG Nitish Kumar said the guerrillas had launched grenade attack through UBGL here. The seventh attack is at 10 pm.
